***************************************************************** The Elder Scrolls III MORROWIND: Necklace Pack I version 1.0 by Gorg ***************************************************************** Special thanks to all the morrowind community A very very big applause for Bethesda for creating such a great game !!! ***************************************************************** Installation: ***************************************************************** Requires Winace The winace file will extract in its own subfolder copy the files as follows or extract directly to your Morrowind/Data Files folder *.nif go to Data Files/Meshes/FP/ *.dds go to Data Files/Textures/ *.tga go to Data Files/Icons/jewelry Jewelry_Pack.esp goes to Data Files/ folder screenshots and readme may be deleted. ***************************************************************** Purpose & History ***************************************************************** [v 1.0 - initial release] What this plugin provide: This plugin provides 18 different necklaces that are wearable by human and elven races as helmets. Argonians, Khajits and Orcs can possess and sell the necklaces but cannot wear them. Necklaces are generally visible on top of clothes and armor(see Disclaimer below) and flow with character animation. Necklaces have 0 armor value but can be enchanted (hint, hint...necklace of protection). Necklaces can be found at pawnshops in most of the major cities. For those who are waiting for the tiaras and crowns unfortunately they are not included in this plugin for size reasons, so if you like the necklaces keep an eye open for the tiara_pack with its matching tiaras coming soon. Poly count is below 200 and will not effect framerate. DISCLAIMER.... I tested the necklaces for problems and clipping using Mabroshi's natural skins 2.0, 2.5, and 3.0 (updated by endhome.com staff), Bethseda's original bodies, Hurdy Gurdy's models and the new bodies from the Better Bodies Project (Thanks Neuman). The plain bodies worked perfectly with the necklaces, however some clothing and armor types do cause clipping especially around the base of the neck area. This is not fixable unless I wanted to make the part that hangs around the neck superwide. Making it super wide makes it look extremely bad when you are wearing tight fitting clothes and robes. So you get what you get. Enjoy Gorg ***************************************************************** How to use the plugin(s) ***************************************************************** When you start Morrowind to play, choose "Data Files" and doubleclick on the box next to Jewelry_Pack.esp This plugin was developed using version v1.2.0722 of Morrowind. It has been tested on both a Morrowind-only setup and on a Tribunal setup in both case with the latest patches. This means it does not require Tribunal, but it at least requires the latest Morrowind patches. It should run correctly on other versions but has not been tested. ***************************************************************** Save Games ***************************************************************** This plugin is completely clean and should not interfere with any other plugins that you are running. It is currently running with over 200 plugins on my machine with no problems. This plugin will not invalidate your old saved games. If you save your game while this plugin is loaded, you may encounter error messages when you reload the saved game without the plugin. But you will be able to continue on with the original game. ***************************************************************** For modders only ***************************************************************** 1. Texture possibilities are endless as a result of how I did the models so if you want to "reuse" some of the textures or meshes to create even more jewelry then by all means be my guest, just give me some credit.
